HOPE CITY CHURCH COVENANT COMMUNITY

God, by his grace alone, has led me to repent of my sin and believe on Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone as my Lord and Savior. As followers of Jesus Christ and owners of Hope City Church, we joyfully commit to living out our shared mission: to love God, love people, and make disciples. This covenant reflects our mutual commitment to God, to one another, and to the world we seek to serve. Ownership at HCC is a sacred responsibility that reflects our participation in the mission and ministry of the church.

As an Covenant Member of Hope City Church, I commit to the following:

1. Love God

• Pursue a growing personal relationship with God through regular prayer, Bible study, and worship.

• Strive to live a life of obedience to Christ, submitting to the authority of Scripture as the foundation for faith and practice.

• Participate faithfully in the weekly worship gatherings and the ordinances of baptism and communion.

Scripture: Matthew 22:37; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. Love People

• Build authentic, loving relationships within the church community through accountability and shared life.

• Encourage and serve one another, using my spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ.

• Promote unity within the church by handling conflicts biblically, extending forgiveness, and pursuing reconciliation.

3. Make Disciples

• Be intentional in sharing the Gospel and living as a witness for Christ in my community and beyond.

• Invest in the spiritual growth of others by mentoring, teaching, and supporting discipleship efforts.

• Support the mission of HCC through financial generosity, serving, and participation in outreach initiatives.

Commitment to the Leadership of Hope City Church

• Support and pray for the pastors, elders, and leaders of HCC as they guide the church according to biblical principles.

• Submit to the leadership and teachings of the church as they align with Scripture and engage respectfully in dialogue when concerns arise.

Commitment to Stewardship

• Steward my time, talents, and resources for the advancement of God’s Kingdom through HCC.

• Practice sacrificial, cheerful giving to support the ministry and mission of the church.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; 1 Peter 4:10-11

As a Covenant Member of Hope City Church, I commit to partnering with this body of believers to reveal God’s glory, proclaim the Gospel, equip and disciple believers and live as salt and light in the world. By signing this covenant, I recognize my responsibility to actively contribute to the spiritual health and mission of Hope City Church.
