"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him." Psalms 127:3, NLT"
Child Dedication is a meaningful moment where parents publicly commit to raising their children to know, love, and follow the Lord. Throughout Scripture, we see God’s heart for parents to intentionally guide their children in faith, teach them God’s ways, and surround them with a community that encourages love and good works.
At Hope City Church, child dedication is not about a child’s salvation, but a parent’s commitment and the church family’s shared responsibility to nurture faith in the next generation. It is a joyful celebration of God’s gift of children and a declaration that, as families, we desire to honor Him in how we lead our homes.
We invite parents of infants and young children to join us on Sunday, March 29, as we dedicate our children to the Lord and pray together as a church family.
All participating parents are asked to attend a short Child Dedication class on the Sunday prior, which will walk through the purpose of dedication and what this commitment means for your family.
If you’re interested in participating, we would love to celebrate this special moment with you.
