HOME FOR HOPE
SUNDAYS

We’re Hope City Church
OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE:
We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples.
We do this by gathering to worship together, building relationships to grow together, and using our gifts to serve together.
Through it all, God is shaping us into a community that reflects Jesus and brings His hope to the world.
Welcome to your home for hope.

Sermon Reflection Questions
The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. Where do you find yourself excusing, comparing, or minimizing sin instead of bringing it honestly before God, and how does that affect your relationship with Him? (Romans 3:23; Psalm 51:3–4)
Jesus did not lower God’s standard—He met it by taking our place. What stands out to you about the fact that Jesus took your sin so you could be made right with God, and how does that shape the way you see the cross? (2 Corinthians 5:21; Isaiah 53:5–6)
Scripture says we are made right with God by faith, not by our own efforts. Where are you tempted to rely on good behavior, performance, or self-improvement instead of trusting what Jesus has already done for you? (Philippians 3:9; Ephesians 2:8–9)
Because of Jesus, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. What guilt, shame, or fear do you still carry that God may already have forgiven, and what would it look like to live in the freedom He offers?(Romans 8:1; Psalm 103:10–12)
